What

At the Social Interaction Lab, we study complex dynamics by designing experiments that mirror the structure and logic of our mathematical models. Our experiments are framed as interactive games that explore fundamental questions in scientific dynamics, consensus formation, cultural evolution, inequality, and evolutionary game theory.

Silab also functions as a collaborative platform for students, researchers, developers, and the public to engage with science and complexity.

There are several ways to engage with our work:

Participate in our experiments: The lab relies on volunteers to contribute to our research. Students and members of the public can take part by completing the online application form provided with each experiment. All research is conducted under strict ethical guidelines, and participant data is treated with the highest confidentiality (see our privacy statement).

Contribute to our community: Propose an experiment or project idea and collaborate with other members to explore complex systems and cultural dynamics.
