Social Interaction Lab (socialinteractionlab.org) is an online lab for cognitive science and language. In particular, we conduct experimental research on language and cultural evolution. Our goal is to explore and understand the way in which human cognition interacts with society and environment. Silab also aims to serve as a platform for users, students, developers and researchers to discuss science and language.

You can participate in different ways:

  • Taking part in an experiment: This project would not be possible without people who volunteer to take part in the research. If you are a student or a member of the public, you can take part in our experiments by completing the application form online (first link of each experiment). All research takes place under very strict ethical guidelines. Personal information about our volunteers is treated in strict confidence (see privacy statement).
  • Participate in our community by proposing an experiment for your project.
